When it comes to striking façades or critical louvre structures, the process must be backed by solid engineering and seamless quality management. Since joining Alupro in March 2015, Ye Min has built a production environment where mechanical engineering precision meets the realities of manufacturing. Before joining Alupro, he spent four years teaching in the mechanical and metal industries. This experience has given him a rare ability to lead both processes and people.
In shipyard and construction industries, certifications are essential for operations. As Production Director, Ye Min ensures that Alupro’s manufacturing meets and exceeds the requirements of standards EN 1090 and ISO 3834. These certificates guarantee the durability of every joint and the structural integrity needed for harsh northern conditions.
“I especially enjoy problem-solving and production development. It’s critical that design, production and quality assurance operate as a unified chain. The end result must be a product that meets the customer’s specifications one hundred percent,” Ye Min explains.
As industrial requirements grow, expertise must evolve as well. Ye Min is currently deepening his knowledge through the International Welding Engineer (IWE) program. It is the highest qualification in the welding field, providing the competence to oversee the most demanding metal structures.
What does IWE-level expertise mean for our partners?
IWE expertise strengthens Alupro’s capabilities in material science, structural optimization and welding supervision. It is an investment that minimizes risks and maximizes production efficiency—ensuring that welding processes meet global quality standards.
Availability of skilled labor is a critical issue for every production director. Ye Min has developed a “training factory” model at Alupro, where cooperation with institutions such as Varia, Keuda and Hyria produces direct results.
This strategic approach has brought continuity to production:
“My background as a teacher helps me recognize potential and understand how important it is to offer genuine opportunities to show one’s abilities. It’s rewarding to see a young talent grow into part of our team and take their place as an equal professional,” Ye Min reflects.
Ye Min Aung is also a shareholder at Alupro, ensuring long-term commitment to the company and its customer projects. It’s not only about production volume, but about an expert community where knowledge is passed from masters to new professionals.
When high-level IWE expertise meets modern mentoring, the result is industrial quality our customers can trust. At Alupro, young talents are not just extra hands—they are future professionals who grow according to the highest standards in the industry.
